Skip To MethodI'm gonna keep it a buck with y'all, I call this breakfast, but really it's eating dessert first thing in the morning!

This is one of my favorite weekend indulgences, and my family LOVES when I make it. Ever since I saw Will Smith flambe on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, I've wanted to do it. Luckily, mine was a bit more successful 😉. The recipe is simple, but I will NOT be responsible for lost eyebrows, so be careful! This is perfect for brunch, dessert, or if you just want some quick carbs! Try this and thank me later!
**Note** The banana bread recipe can be found Banana Bread!
Melt butter over high heat
Stir in sugar until dissolved
Add in bourbon and use a butane torch to ignite the fire (alternatively, you can tilt the pan away from you until it catches the flame). Stay Far Back and swirl pan until flame burns out. Took about 20 seconds for me!
Add in heavy cream and stir until it combines
Add bananas and cook for 1 minute
Keep warm until waffles are ready!
For waffles, simply take 1/2 inch thick slices of banana bread and cook it in the waffle iron for 3 minutes
